Description

CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser is a gentle foaming cleanser designed to cleanse and exfoliate rough, bumpy skin without compromising the skin's natural protective barrier.

Formulated with salicylic acid, it gently exfoliates the skin to help remove dead skin cells and leave skin feeling softer and smoother. The formula also contains three essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid to help maintain the skin barrier and retain moisture.

Suitable for both the face and body, this cleanser is particularly suitable for normal skin with rough or uneven texture. It can also be incorporated into routines for skin prone to keratosis pilaris.

Unlike physical scrubs, the formula contains no harsh microbeads and is designed to provide gentle exfoliation without leaving skin feeling dry. CeraVe states that it is fragrance-free, non-comedogenic and allergy tested

How to Use

Wet skin with lukewarm water.
Apply the cleanser to the skin.
Gently massage in circular motions.
Rinse thoroughly.
Follow with a suitable moisturiser.

CeraVe's official UK directions specifically state to wet the skin with lukewarm water, massage the cleanser gently in circular motions and rinse.

Because this product contains salicylic acid, it is also sensible to use daily sunscreen as part of your skincare routine; CeraVe notes that salicylic acid's exfoliating effects can increase sensitivity to UV exposure.
